<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: inherit; line-height: 17px;">T-Pain's fingerprints are all over pop and R&B and hip-hop. He wasn't the first musician to use Auto-Tune as an instrument, he noticed it on a Jennifer Lopez remix, and remembers "Deep" well; but it was, as he says, his style. For a while, in the mid-2000s, he lived at the top of the charts. He dominated that brief moment of our lives when ringtones were a thing. He was celebrated as an innovator, and he happily took his talents where he was invited, which was everywhere.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 17px;" /></span>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: inherit; line-height: 17px;">But somewhere along the way, somebody got it twisted. "People felt like I was using it to sound good," says T-Pain, in an interview that will air on All Things Considered. "But I was just using it to sound different.”</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 17px;" /></span>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: inherit; line-height: 17px;">He just turned 30, but T-Pain has already done enough to drop a greatest hits album next week. We asked him if he'd grace the Tiny Desk without any embellishment or effects to show what's really made his career: his voice, and those songs. - FRANNIE KELLEY </span><br />

Eminem officially dropped the visuals for "Headlights" fittingly on Mother's Day and now Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake dropped their official video for their collabo entitled "Love Never Felt So Good." Meanwhile in Harlem today... Dipset's own Cam'ron and A-Trak officially released the official video for "Dipsh*ts" featuring Juelz Santana as well. In this week's Mash-Up, both videos are featured. Although they're two of New York's best-known rap exports, Fat Joe and 50 Cent have not always had the friendliest of history - more accurately, they've had one of the city's biggest beefs. But after coming together for a Chris Lighty tribute at the BET Awards in 2012, the two have supposedly been on good terms. Now, facilitated by DJ Kay Slay, who's been releasing a slew of other songs featuring some of New York's finest MCs, the two are finally together on a track. It's called "Free Again," and it debuted last night on Funkmaster Flex's radio show on Hot 97. It's full of serious New York bars, as the two reflect on their pasts. Joe discusses his time in prison ("Shout out to you-know who / Let me f*ck in the chapel.") and 50 lobs some taunts ("The fuck you think I am? Kanye? / I had them wearing vests / Now these n*ggas wear dresses."). Peep a listen below, it's some of both artists' best work in years. #ORGANIZEDGRIND<br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Eminem teased the release on Facebook where he was going to reveal five clues about the song. However, before he could get passed clue #1, "Rap God" leaked in Europe and now has made its way to our ears. While his first single "Berzerk" played off a rock-infused backdrop courtesy of legendary producer <span style="background-color: transparent; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; border: 0px; margin: 0px; outline: none; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">Rick Rubin</span>, "Rap God" centers around the Detroit MC's cutthroat lyricism and a menacing bounce of a beat that follows his rapid delivery. "Why be a king when you can be a God?" Eminem ponders at the end of this thrilling six-minute manifesto. Good question. Maybe we should ask the King of New York?</span></div>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: inherit; line-height: 17px;">Watch the official visual for "Holy Grail" by JAY Z featuring Justin Timberlake. Directed by Anthony Mandler. Obviously, we love anything with fight clips, peep this video and get a glimpse of when "Buster" Douglas knocked-out "Iron" Mike Tyson for the first time in the storied fighter's career. Mike Tyson has been trying to get back up ever since... However Jay Z and Timberlake have always stayed on a vast incline and with this video, they deliver another knock-out punch from "The Legends of the Summer" duo. #ORGANIZEDGRIND</span>TFM Lifestyle Apparel Companyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11845280381506163282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3188551269698851103.post-11413743135199481602013-08-04T21:32:00.001-07:002013-08-30T11:19:39.384-07:00Sylvester Stallone - "Zero to Hero."<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">Ever since I was a little kid I
loved the story of the Rocky films. I have never thought much of Sylvester
Stallone at the time, but then I watched a Youtube video (See video below)
telling an incredible zero to hero story about Sylvester Stallone’s experiences
with the first Rocky movie.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #222222; font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">Sylvester
Stallone’s inspiring story is a great example of persistence and dedication
that finally results in unimaginable success. </span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">Read
the story and let your mind fathom how your dreams can be realized with enough
willpower and determination.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">Not a
lot of people know this, but due to complications during labor, the lower left
side of Stallone’s face is paralyzed, including parts of his tongue, lip and
chin. This incident at birth is the cause of his trademark snarling look and
his slurred manner of speaking. </span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">For the
first five years of his life, Sylvester Stallone lived in an area of New York
known as Hell’s Kitchen. He bounced from one foster home to another while his
parents fought and squabbled endlessly in a bad marriage. </span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">Although
he was eventually reunited with them, his troubled past and his oddly paralyzed
face made him an outcast among his classmates. He often received suspensions
for his frequent fights, poor grades, and behavior problems.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; margin: 0in 0in 16.8pt; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<b style="background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; outline: 0px;"><span style="border: none windowtext 1.0pt; color: #222222; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; mso-border-alt: none windowtext 0in; padding: 0in;">Below Zero Status</span></b><br />
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">His
adult life was just as difficult. Hard times and a lack of income resulted in
the actor getting evicted from his apartment. As a result he was forced to live
on the streets for close to three weeks. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">Eventually
he came across a casting call for a soft core pornography film; out of desperation
he attended the casting call. For two days of filming the actor received $200. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">According
to Stallone “it was either do that movie or rob someone, because I was at the
end, the very end of my rope." </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">After
getting back on his feet he was eventually able to attend college. However,
deciding this path was not for him, he left before graduation and moved to New
York to pursue an acting career. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">He
tried out for nearly each and every casting call he could, and contacted as
many casting agents as he could find, with no victory. After numerous failed
attempts he made the decision to try his hand at writing various screenplays. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">After
numerous failed attempts he found himself broke once again. In an act of
desperation he waited outside of a local liquor store asking people if they
would buy his dog; his closest and best friend. In the end someone bought his
dog for roughly $50. Stallone was extremely devastated that his life had come
to that point. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">With
options few and far between he began to run out of money. By now he was
desperate to get a job but he still was not ready to settle on just any job. He
wanted to be an actor and that was what he had his mind set on.</span><br />
<b style="background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; outline: 0px;"><span style="border: none windowtext 1.0pt; color: #222222; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; mso-border-alt: none windowtext 0in; padding: 0in;"><br /></span></b>
<b style="background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; outline: 0px;"><span style="border: none windowtext 1.0pt; color: #222222; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; mso-border-alt: none windowtext 0in; padding: 0in;">The Hero’s Journey to Success</span></b><br />
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">One day
as Stallone walked the cold streets of New York City he wandered into the local
library to warm up. While he browsed through the many books he discovered some
of the best classics by many famous writers which inspired him to work harder
on his screenplays and various writings. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">In
1975, Stallone saw the Muhammad Ali vs. Chuck Wepner fight. That night Stallone
went home, and in three days he had written the script for Rocky. He tried to
sell the script with the intention of playing the lead role. However, months
passed with enormous rejections from many producers, until eventually someone
loved it and they agreed to do the movie. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">As poor
as he was, Stallone turned down the great sums of money he was offered because
he insisted that he must play the lead role in the film. Studios were not
willing to cast him in this role because he was a complete unknown, and they
wanted a well known star. They told him he was not an actor but a writer. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">There
is a story that Stallone had been offered more than a hundred thousand dollars
for his script as long as someone else could take the lead role, but he
refused. He was so sure in his heart that this part was meant for him, and him
alone. He refused to compromise. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">Finally
the studio agreed to allow Stallone to proceed with the film, provided that it
was made on a shoestring budget. Stallone accepted the deal and used part of
his money to go back to the liquor store and get his dog back. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">As you
all probably know, Rocky became a worldwide commercial success and Oscar
winner. The film was nominated for ten Academy Awards in all, and went on to
win the Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Film Editing. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">The
sequel, Rocky II was released a few years later and also became a major
success. The film series has grossed more than $1.25 billion at the worldwide
box office.</span><br />

<span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">Sylvester
Stallone achieved his success because he always believed in himself and his
vision. He never gave up and kept trying and trying until he made it. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">For me,
Sylvester Stallone is one of the best demonstrations of how persistence can
overcome all manner of obstacles with impossible odds. </span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">Live

I don't want to write too much about this one, I'm gonna just let the music do most of the talking. Snoop Dogg a.k.a. Snoop Lion has collaborated with many artists on his upcoming album entitled "Reincarnated," but when I heard Miley Cyrus was one of the contributors, I couldn't help but think... C'mon son? Then today I heard the song... The sh*t is flat out dope! I've probably listened to the song a dozen times and each time it grows on me more and more. The beat, the hook, Miley, Snoop... Everything, its pure dopeness. I have never felt like smoking more marijuana (I don't actually smoke) and sipp'n on the finest blend of Crown Royal Canadian Rye Whiskey and soda (but I do drink) in my life. Listening to this song makes me wanna fade my brain and think of all the loved ones in my life, some of who I've lost and some of which who are still with me. The song is entitled "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks" and the sh*t is therapeutic. Sometimes we need "Guilty Pleasures" in our life, and this is one I won't regret and I ain't afraid to admit it. Calvin Broadus and Hannah Montana go hard on this one! April 16th, 2013, go cop this ma'an! I'm digg'n the new Snoop Lion sh*t, ewww-wheee! Hit the jump below on this one! #ORGANIZEDGRIND<br />

Last week, March 25th, 2013 marked the 10 year anniversary of famed hip-hop group The Diplomats a.k.a. Dipset. The Dipset crew (Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Freekey Zekey, Hell Rell, 40 Cal, J.R. Writer, and others...) have been one of the most influential groups in the history of hip-hop. Dipset influenced hip-hop music in many ways; They pioneered modern-day artist-driven mixtapes. They changed the face of rap fashion. And they constantly introduced important new talent. These influences as well as many others have embedded The Diplomats as one of the greatest hip-hop crews of all-time. "In Flex We Trust" presented a 10 year anniversary reunion concert last week in New York City and cult-followers came in droves to see The Diplomats perform live at B.B. King's Blues Club and Grill. Special guests included Waka Flocka and Lloyd Banks. We have to give a big shout-out to our favorite Dipset member - J.R. Writer for doing his thing and shut'n it down and kill'n it with his performance ("Get'em" is still one of the greatest mixtape singles ever). <br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">(Continued from Part 1...) Day 2 of the Fan Expo began at 9am, Nick and Nate Diaz volunteered
to appear at TFM’s booth at 10am, so I wanted to make sure I advertised their appearance
appropriately. I made a little computer
generated sign that stated Nick and Nate Diaz would be appearing at TFM’s booth
at 10am. A lineup began to form as early
as 9:15am. Because of all the attention
this tiny brand (The Fight Mafia) that not many people even heard of had
lineups around the corner and was having a better showing than most
multi-million dollar brands, I was paid a visit by a UFC Fan Expo
administrator. The UFC administrator
told me that I can’t have Nick Diaz appear in TFM’s booth because he fought (at
the time) for a competing promotion. I
kind of took what the Expo administrator had said with a grain of salt and
pretty much left it at that. I knew
there was no way in hell I was going to decline Nick from his appearance after
all he had done for me. I basically said
“screw that” and went about my business.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Day 2 was as busy as you could imagine. A reported 30,000 fans came through the
Convention Center doors that day and hundreds if not thousands of people wanted
to see Nick Diaz (and of course his brother Nate Diaz). And the only spot to see Nick Diaz or the
Diaz brothers together was in TFM’s booth.
The next four hours proved to be a roller coaster. At 11am the Diaz brothers had yet to show
up. At 12-noon the Diaz brothers had yet
to show up. Fans were beginning to grow
very impatient and some wondered if they would even show up at all. At 1pm, I got a phone call from Cesar Gracie
stating he couldn’t get a hold of either Nick or Nate and that they had gone
M.I.A. At that time I actually found the
situation somewhat humorous and once the fans saw my conversation with Cesar, I
would say around 40% of them found the situation humorous as well. My staff and I tried our best to keep
everyone calm. One of my friends who was
working for me that day had the idea that he would go track down Dan Hardy and
see if he could move-up his appearance to give the fans at least one bonafide star
to take pictures with and sign autographs.
To my astonishment, we found Dan Hardy in the basement of the Convention
Center doing an interview and he was more than willing to help calm the
patiently waiting crowd. Did I mention
how great Dan Hardy is? So we scurried
Dan quickly to TFM’s booth, trying to make sure that all who recognized him
wouldn’t slow our pace to the booth. As
soon as we got there, the crowd instantly lost focus on who was NOT there and
rather changed their focus to the fact Dan Hardy WAS there. Shortly after, Sam Stout showed up at TFM’s
booth and we finally had control of the crowd.
At 2:15pm, both Nick and Nate Diaz showed up at the booth and the crowd
couldn’t have been happier! I actually had
a hard time making space for everyone.
All at the same time, Dan Hardy, Sam Stout, Nate Diaz, and Nick Diaz
were signing autographs and taking pictures with fans in TFM’s booth. Did I care the Diaz brothers were over four
hours late for their appearance? Hell
no! Did the fans care? Not really.
Fans who had asked for refunds on Diaz brothers t-shirts, re-bought
those same t-shirts. At one point, Nate
Diaz himself handed me approximately $160.00.
I asked him, “What’s this?” He
replied, “I sold a few shirts…” At that
moment (among others) I was overcome with appreciation. I was in appreciation of Dan Hardy and Sam
Stout, but I was extremely appreciative for both Nick and Nate Diaz (not to mention
Cesar Gracie for being so helpful). For
the rest of Day 2, both Nick and Nate Diaz stayed for at least 4 hours signing
autographs and taking pictures with fans on behalf of my $200 brand. The compensation they requested for doing
that for me, approximately $3.00… The
price of 3 or 4 bottles of water they drank.
The Fight Mafia (TFM) outsold, outshined, and had a better showing at
the first ever UFC Fan Expo than 85% of the exhibitors who participated (some
of which were multi-million dollar companies).
The majority of that accomplishment I have Nick and Nate Diaz to thank
for that (not to mention Dan Hardy, Sam Stout, Cesar Gracie and my staff
Christine, Kris, Kristin, and Jenna).</span><br />

<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: 115%;">So as you can see, I will always be down with
DIAZ! I honestly believe Nick Diaz is a
person who would give the shirt off his back to a stranger. For me, he practically did. He is one of the world’s top Mixed Martial
Artists and on March 16</span>th<span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: 115%;">, 2013, I believe he will be the new UFC
Welterweight Champion. This is not a
knock against Georges St. Pierre, so please don’t send me hate-mail. I just feel that Nick is the better fighter
and is more durable for what most expect this fight to be – a bloodbath. He may not say all the right things nor do
all the right things but when push comes to shove, he always brings it. Nick Diaz is a man who has overcome many
obstacles to achieve success. I for one
relate to most of what Nick Diaz is. It’s
a shitty feeling to be villainized just because you won’t back down from
anything nor anyone. It’s hard to not
lash out and act crazy sometimes when it feels like the world’s “Silver-Spooners”
are always laughing at you, and unjustly they are.
I recently read an article on MMASucka.com (great website)
where the author ended his article by stating, “We laugh at Diaz.” Well I don’t think many people will be
laughing come Saturday night when MMA’s “Golden Boy” is in the fight of his
life with a volatile warrior like Nick Diaz (again, no hate-mail please). He’s not articulate, you may refer to him as
an “uneducated fool,” but he is human and even “The Baddest Man on the Planet”
has tipping points. Social anxiety,
panic attacks, hyper-tension disorder are all forms of mental illness which is
a disease. Cannabis is a common medication
for this and many other illnesses.
Imagine if other disease sufferers couldn’t take their medication for
weeks if not months before they had to go to work? How good of employees would they be? Not to mention Nick’s job entails a trained
killer trying to punch his face off. This
is just my opinion, I may be right, I may be wrong? However, Nick Diaz speaks my language and I
understand him just fine and so do thousands if not millions of others. It’s a demographic of people who make
mistakes, take the hard route, but at the same time never give-up no matter how
many “Silver-Spooners,” “Golden-Boys,” “Ivy-Leagues,” or “Pedigree-type” people
laugh at us or point their fingers at us and say “There’s the Bad-Guy!” To take a quote from the famed movie “Scarface,”
“You’ll never see another Bad-Guy like Nick Diaz again…” “So say goodnight to the Bad-Guy!” Nick Diaz – the new UFC Welterweight Champion! He’s not what you think… But then again, f*ck what you think. #209</span><br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">This Saturday, March 16th, 2013, UFC 158 takes
place live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The main event being one of the most
anticipated fights in Mixed Martial Arts history – UFC Welterweight Champion
Georges St. Pierre (GSP) vs. Challenger Nick Diaz. In the lead-up to this epic showdown, much
has been said of Diaz’s behavior, attitude, antics, and what most would judge
as Nick Diaz’s character (among other things).
Everyday I read numerous online articles stating that “Nick Diaz is
classless.” “Nick Diaz is a common thug
and bad for the sport, etc.” Well I
write this article with precisely the opposite opinion. Nick Diaz isn’t want you think (hence the title - F*ck what you think). Nick Diaz isn’t how he is perceived in the
media. Nick Diaz is arguably “The
Baddest Man on the Planet” and one of the nicest individuals I have ever met…</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">In April of 2009, I started the clothing brand (The Fight
Mafia) in an 8x10 space in my basement.
Two hundred dollars ($200) and one t-shirt is how I founded The Fight
Mafia (TFM) brand apparel. Three months
later (July, 2009), still operating out of my basement, “The Baddest Man on the
Planet” did for me what I refer to as “a solid.” In July of 2009, I decided to participate my
brand in the first ever UFC Fan Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in
Las Vegas, Nevada that coincided with UFC 100.
At that point I had only sponsored four athletes; Sam Stout (UFC 97),
Dan hardy (UFC 99), Chris Horodecki (Ultimate Chaos), and Nate Diaz (TUF Season
9 Finale). Everything I did was on the
tightest of budgets. I invited all four
athletes to appear in TFM’s UFC Fan Expo booth space. Each fighter’s management specified that
hotel and flights had to be paid in order for their athlete to make an appearance
in TFM’s booth except for Nate Diaz.
Nate Diaz’s manager Cesar Gracie notified me that Nate’s accommodations
were already taken care of and that Nate would appear in TFM’s booth if he had
time between commitments. Nate was already contracted to
appear in the official UFC booth as well as the booth of multi-million dollar
brand “Ecko.” I must state that Dan
Hardy declined to accept his flight being paid for and drove on his own dime from Los Angeles to
Las Vegas to appear in TFM’s booth (Dan’s my homeboy). Chris Horodecki was unavailable due to prior
commitments and I was very appreciative that Sam Stout and Dan Hardy were
committed to appear at TFM’s booth and Nate Diaz as well would try his best to
attend.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"> </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The Fight Mafia was a tiny basement brand with a limited
budget and even participating in the two-day Fan Expo was a huge financial
risk. I truly depended on fighter appearances
to make TFM’s participation a success.
The first day of the Expo started off without a hitch, UFC Lightweight -
Sam Stout was appearing at our booth as well as UFC Welterweight - Dan
Hardy. We were making rather steady
sales but I could see that hours of autographs and picture taking were beginning
to wear on both Sam and Dan. I could
tell that soon I was going to have to relieve them of their duties. With approximately four hours left in Day 1
of the Fan Expo, I relieved both Sam and Dan of their booth appearances and
made plans for them to appear again on Day 2.
I was extremely appreciative for both of their participations; however,
without a fighter in TFM’s booth, traffic was dwindling. I was hoping that Nate Diaz was going to be
able to find time to appear at TFM’s booth to keep the momentum going for the
rest of Day 1. I eventually got a phone
call from Nate Diaz’s manager Cesar Gracie and he informed me that Nate was
busy appearing at the official UFC booth and after that he would be appearing
at Marc Ecko’s booth. Therefore, it didn’t
seem promising for Nate Diaz to appear at TFM’s booth on Day 1 of the Fan Expo. Cesar however did state that Nate’s brother
Nick Diaz was willing to appear at TFM’s booth if I could find him. I hung up the phone and began my search. I had never sponsored nor met Nick Diaz but
he was one my favorite fighters and a world-class athlete. It didn’t take me long to find him as he was
just hanging out at the Expo backstage and as soon as I asked him to appear in
TFM’s booth, he said “Yes, let’s do it!”
We walked over to the booth, Nick put on a TFM Diaz Brother’s t-shirt, and
instantly a huge crowd formed. TFM’s
booth was packed with adoring fans and sales began to skyrocket. I had purposely designed TFM’s Nate Diaz
signature shirt to accommodate both Nate and his brother Nick to give the shirt cross-over appeal but I could have never imagined this…</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Nick Diaz couldn’t have been nicer to both TFM employees and
to the fans. I kept asking him if he
needed anything and he always politely replied “I’m okay, thanks.” Nick Diaz appeared at TFM’s booth for
approximately four hours signing autographs and taking pictures with fans and
when the Fan Expo ended, he made sure he stayed late and that everyone in line got
a picture and an autograph. Imagine how
that made me feel, I was a $200 brand with one of the world’s greatest athletes
sticking his neck out for me. Keep in mind;
I had never met Nick Diaz before that day.
To say I was honored and appreciative would be a huge understatement. To top it all off, after
Nate Diaz finished his appearance at the UFC booth, Nate spent about 30 minutes
at Ecko’s booth (which was directly behind TFM’s booth) and then spent the last
2 hours of the Fan Expo's Day 1 at TFM’s booth and also stayed late until every fan got what
they came for. So for the last few hours
of Day 1 of the UFC Fan Expo, we had both Diaz brothers appearing at TFM’s
booth at the same time. It was nothing short of a mad
frenzy! For two guys who have been
referred to as “classless thugs” in the media, both Nick and Nate Diaz couldn’t
have been nicer gentleman or more professional.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; font-size: x-small; line-height: 18px;">(Photo Credit; Fans lined-up to see Nick Diaz, UFC 100 Fan Expo, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; font-size: x-small; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: 115%;">Once all fans had gotten a photo and an
autograph with both Diaz brothers, everyone was completely exhausted. We were tired and we were all hungry. Nick Diaz asked what everyone was doing for
dinner and offered to take everyone out for dinner. Here is a guy who spent hours of his
afternoon doing things for everyone else and he’s the one who wants to take everyone
out for dinner. Of course we could not
accept, Nick had already done so much for everyone.
We chatted for a bit and both Nick and Nate offered to appear at TFM’s
booth again the next day for Day 2 of the Fan Expo. I asked them what time they wanted to appear
and they replied that they get up early in the morning and 10am was a good time
for them. I thought perfect, get the
buzz going early. Everyone headed back
to their respective hotel rooms for a well deserved night of rest as Day 2 of the
Fan Expo was anticipated to be even crazier than Day 1. Of course, Day 2 was extremely interesting to say the least. (To be continued...)</span></div>

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18px;">A few weeks ago, MTV debuted a new original series entitled "Washington Heights." The anticipation was lukewarm at best, mainly for reason of viewers unsure on what to expect from MTV following the culture that was showcased on the hit series "Jersey Shore." It was apparent, although "Jersey Shore" was a ratings monster, the general public at large isn't ready nor do they want another "Fist Pumping" phenomenon (at this time). Thankfully, "Washington Heights" was/is a delightful surprise to stagnant, non-original series' airing currently regardless of network. It is truly one of the best reality based shows in recent years. A brief show synopsis is below; </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span>
<i><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;">"Washington Heights" follows a group of best friends living, working and playing in the diverse New York City neighborhood of Washington Heights. Having grown up just blocks away from each other, they all share special bonds that feel more like family than friends. While fiercely proud of their community, they sometimes struggle to push past the confines of their upbringing in order to carve out bright futures for themselves. And despite obstacles that threaten to stand in the way of their dreams (aspiring fashion designer, professional baseball, hip-hop artist, poet), they always have each other's backs. </span><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;" /><br style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;" /><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;">"Washington Heights" is ultimately a celebration of friendship, neighborhood pride and making your way in life while having a good time along the way.</span></i></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18px;">Since Showtime's "How to make it in America" (2011) was unjustly left unrenewed (we're biased), "Washington Heights" breathes fresh air and picks up the slack for showcasing urban aspirational programming. New York City is full of compelling characters, stories, and personalities. Washington Heights compels us, the characters and personalities showcase refreshing realness. In a neighborhood where success is not guaranteed, Washington Heights and it's cast make success seem inevitable. Tune in on Wednesdays at 10/9c, we're confident the show will grow on you. #ORGANIZEDGRIND </span></span><br />

The Wall Street Journal has released a rather in-depth interview with famed hip-hop artist The Game. Topics that are discussed in this compelling sit-down vary from Game's future plans to the controversy that seems to follow him everywhere he goes, as well as his goal to one day reach the same "Mogul" status that many of his peers have reached (Jay-Z, Diddy, and nemesis 50 Cent).<br />
<br />
What most may find most interesting is the subject of a possible G-Unit reunion. The Game's manager has committed to doing what he can in order to make sure the G-Unit re-collaboration comes to fruition. We don't think there would be too many hip-hop heads mad at that. "Hate it or Love it," The Game has really evolved as an artist and has always had the talent to go bar-for-bar with anyone in the world. #ORGANIZEDGRIND TFM Lifestyle Apparel Companyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11845280381506163282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3188551269698851103.post-23466546534572704642013-01-14T14:41:00.002-08:002013-11-28T23:28:50.475-08:00Soulja Boy - Hip Hop's worst enemy. <div style="margin: 0px;">

<span class="apple-style-span"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Within the past few days self-proclaimed rapper Soulja Boy Tell'Em released a video from his upcoming mixtape in which we didn't research enough to know the title of, nor care. Obviously everyone within the hip-hop community knows of Soulja Boy's criticisms, but after watching this last video, it is clear - Soulja Boy is on another level of being flat-out the worst thing to ever happen to hip-hop music. Within 60 seconds of listening to this deplorable excuse for music we honestly asked ourselves, "Is this for real?" "Is he serious with this?" This appears to be Soulja Boy's best Chief Keef impersonation and we guess Soulja Boy too "Loves Sosa." However, Sosa has truly got something, a certain X-factor that destines him for success. Soulja Boy has remarkably duped the music industry into earning himself millions of dollars and much respect for that, it is wrong to hate on someone for getting his, but please Mr. Boy, leave rap alone. It also appears some of his homies in this new video even have a hard time bump'n to his sh*t. Notice a few entourage members standing around with facial expressions that suggest statements like, "I can't do this no more..." I guess we can find solitude in knowing that one day Soulja will squander away his fortune and just be a distant memory of days when hip-hop producers were on top of they're game and most rappers were not...</span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: 115%;">On October
6th, 2012, the greatest rapper alive - Jay-Z was spotted at the Canal Street
subway station catching the subway train to Brooklyn. He exited at the Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center
stop and entered into the Barclays Center before performing his eighth and final
show at the famed Barclays Center arena.
For less than an hour Jay-Z (a global superstar) was once again simply
Shawn Corey Carter. </span>TFM Lifestyle Apparel Companyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11845280381506163282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3188551269698851103.post-940905310704749532012-10-07T01:18:00.002-07:002012-10-07T03:23:04.096-07:00MGK - Top 10 Contender. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span class="apple-style-span"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Recently Bad Boy recording artist Machine Gun Kelly paid a visit to FunkMaster Flex live in studio at Hot 97, NYC and went crazy with a couple impromptu freestyles. His request was simple, he suggested all the top 10 rappers in the world to decide amongst themselves on who's spot MGK was to replace among the top 10 rappers today. Was he justified in his statement? Hit the play button and decide for yourself. One thing is for sure, MGK goes hard and is definitely a new contender bringing something new to the world of Hip-Hop. Cleveland bringing the "Lace-Up" movement like Brad Daugherty in the 80's. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></span></span></div>
